Just how...

Just how is August almost over? Seriously, we have been a lot less busy. But the month has still managed to slip right on by. We got home from the family reunion on Sunday the third, and it was off to work Monday morning and then back up to Kamas as soon as we got done with work to haul hay. We hauled hay, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights, but we got it done! It is so nice to know that it is done!

Mom and Dad went up to Woodland on Saturday the 9th to spend some time with Grandpa. One of his minatures had had a colt. They are so cute when they are just little like this one.

When Mom and Dad got home we headed out to South Jordan to go to Draft Horse Pulls at the Salt Lake County fair. The storm you see past the flag had just passed over us. It really put it down. Luckily we were in the covered bleachers, but the track got real nasty.

We have been taking it pretty easy. Once the Olympics started it seemed like every night we could we would sit and watch them into the wee hours of the morning. They sure pulled through with some real excitment. We really enjoyed watching them.

Dad's class had decided to try another attempt at Bald Mountain since the snow stopped them about halfway up a couple months ago. So Kylie, Brody and myself joined in. We had such a good time. The hike was just amazing and the scenery is just breath taking. I had hiked up there when I was eight, but I think I was a lot more observant this time around. Of course I was snap happy as always, I just can't help myself. I was SO happy with how the pictues turned out. I couldn't pick, so I just put them all into a slide show. Hope you enjoy, maybe you will fill like you climbed it with us.

Happy 14th Wedding Anniversary to Paul and Laura on the 27th! Can you believe that? I know it's hard for me to. I'm looking forward to September. I'm very excited for the start of football season, hunting and hopefully a lot of horseback riding!

High School Tag

I figure that I better do this since I was tagged.

1. Did you date anyone from your high school? Nope
2. What kind of car did you drive? Well, Mom always drove me to school. But if I was going out with friends Shannon would always come and pick me up!
3. Were you a party animal? I had a good time in High School, but I wasn't a party animal.
4. Were you considered a flirt? I don't think so.
5. Were you in band, orchestra or choir? Orchestra
6. Were you a nerd? No
7. Were you on any varsity teams? Nope
8. Did you ever get suspended or expelled? Can't say I was.
9. Can you still sing the fight song? The fight song...for some reason I can't think of it...and I should know it because we sang it after each touch down. But I can sing most of the school song. I guess that's what happens when you are a cheerleader.
10. Who were your favorite teachers? Ms. Saltas and Ms. Ericksen, there was also one that I can't think of her name, she was a really short little blonde and she taught women's studies.
11. Where did you sit for lunch? On the floor by our lockers or in the atrium.
12. What was your school's full name? Skyline High School
13. What was your mascot? Eagle
14. If you could go back and do it again, would you? I don't know. I had a really good time, and I loved it, but I don't know that I would want to go and do it again.
15. What do you remember most about graduation? Playing with the orchestra, our cool sunglasses, ditching the graduation party, going to emily's hotel, leaving and just hanging out with Shannon the rest of the night.
16. Where did you go on Senior Skip Day? Skyline doesn't do that...we just didn't have school the last day.
17. Were you in any clubs? Pep Club and Orchestra
18. Have you gained weight since then? Unforunately
19. Who was your prom date? Skyline is dumb and the girls ask to Junior Prom, so I went with Brian Leeflang. And I didn't go to Senior Prom.
20. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? I'll think about it! Oh wait, Shannon will probably make me, so yes.

I tag Emily, Alicia and Amy
