The boys came home with us that night and stayed over and then went back up with us on the 3rd for the 2nd performance. Then it was back home to take care of things here around the house.
July 4th - Dad, Mom, Brody, Bridger and I were up and at 'em so that we could get up to Oakley for the parade. Paul, Laura, Kylie and Amber got over there and saved us a spot.

Mom, Grandpa, Aunt Billie Sue and RobertAfter we loaded up with candy we got at the parade we made our way out to Woodland for lunch. Mom had fixed a very yummy lunch, and we all stuffed ourselves.
Grandpa eating lunch. After we got done eating we played around at Grandpa's house. Then we all got ready and headed down to Oakley for the rodeo. Grandpa, Robert, Dad, Mom, Paul, Laura, Amber, Brody, Bridger and I all went to the rodeo.
Mom and Grandpa at the rodeo.Saturday the 5th Dad, Mom and I got back up to Oakley in good time to go and watch the Draft Horse Pulls. Those horses are really something else. Sorry no pictures though, the lighting in the indoor arena doesn't make for good pictures. We spent the rest of the day out to Grandpa's piddling around before getting ready and heading back down to Oakley for the final night of the Oakley rodeo.
Messy faced Bridger - he must have really liked his hot dog.

John Harrison - Barrel Man, Cory Wall - Bullfighter, Brody, Me and MomI love that I live in a place where I can go and do what I want. Being able to go to so many rodeos is such a treat. It doesn't seem to matter what time of year, every time at the start of the rodeo when they bring the flag in on horseback my heart swells with pride. I am so grateful to the men and women who fight for our country and help keep our country free.
After going to church on Sunday we headed back up to Kamas and loaded up Josie and Shadow and headed for the hills. We went up to Bench Creek and the wildflowers were absolutely gorgeous. Dad, Paul, Amber, Brody and Bridger stayed at the truck while Mom and I rode.
It was so pretty and green and lush. We didn't ride for to long since it was our first ride of the year. Mom and I were talking as we were riding saying how lucky we are that we have such good horses. We hadn't been on them since late last fall, and we got on and had no problems with them at all.
Bridger and Paul on Josie and Amber on Shadow. The kids always want to have a ride when we get back.
Brody on ShadowAmber and Brody talked their Dad and Mom into letting them come and stay with us, so they came home with us. They next day they wanted to wash my car, so the minute I got home from work they started begging. Glad that I had them to help me, it was a pretty big job. Specials thanks to Grandpa(Dad) for helping! I even "rewarded" them for helping me by letting them to sparklers that night. I have some really neat pictures of them that I forgot to upload, so I guess they will just have to wait until next time.
We had a lot of fun with them, playing outside in the water, watching movies and doing sparklers.
Wednesday Mom took them out to Uncle Mark's to go swimming in his pool. They had a lot of fun.
Amber and Uncle Mark
Brody and AmberWhen I got home from work they apparently hadn't had enough of the water as they were still playing in the tubs. Milly talked Brody into sharing his water with her.
Friday the 11 I went out to Shannon's for craft night. We had a lot of fun.

Saturday Dad, Mom and I went out to Sandy to watch the Day's of '47 All Horse Parade. That's right, we have already started celebrating Pioneer Day! The All Horse Parade was a lot better this year then it had been the last couple, so we were happy for the improvement.
Paul's family came over after we got back home and played in the tubs. Seeing who could hold their breath the longest. Then we had a little game of "football" if you can even call it that.

After we wore ourselves out, and ate dinner we came in and watched old home videos from when we looked like this! Good times! Got to love old home videos.
Well another month is just about half way over. We have plans to send it out with just as big of bang as we brought it in with. Reunions, rodeos, visitors, parades, and if you can image another birthday!! Hope to see you down the trail.
