On Thursday the 28th I went and took pictures of
Shannon's boys. We've been trying to get it done for a long time and finally did. I hope there's a few that turn out good, otherwise we'll just have to it again! It's not the easiest thing to try and get three little boys between the ages of one and five to all look at you AND smile at the same time.

Brizden, Ledger and Rylek

Paul's kids all came and stayed with us on Friday night so that Paul and Laura could go and CELEBRATE their 14th Wedding Anniversary. We all got up early on Saturday morning to head to Swiss Days and try and beat the crowd. I think we did a pretty good job. We bought a couple things and headed back home. We got back home just in time to get our feast ready to eat and watch the Utah vs. Mighigan football game. Here's the ribs that we fixed. They were so good!
We CELEBRATED as Utah beat Michigan 25-23!! Go Utes!!
Monday September 1st brought with it a cold, wet Labor Day! But we weren't about to let that stop us from CELEBRATING! Brody and Bridger had been looking forward to riding sheep again, they didn't care if it was rainning or not. They both did really well! Brody thinks that next year he'll warm up on a sheep and then ride a steer. We'll have to see about that. Olivia's boys Luke and Noah rode sheep as well. After the Junior Rodeo was over they had races for the kids. They raced for quarters, food shack coupons, chickens, kittens and pigs. Luckily we made out with quarters, food shack coupons and NO animals. Kylie almost brought home a chicken, but luckily some other kids wanted it a lot more. After the races were done we took Mom out to Grandpa's and Dad and I went back over to Francis for the Battle of the Bulls. Cache was riding, and he made a great ride, just came up a little short. At the end they had a Ring of Fear, and this older guy won it, but I'm not sure he won enough to cover the chiropractor bill he'll have to go get adjusted. After we CELEBRATED all that we could at Francis we headed out to Woodland and had fresh hot apple pie. Oh man was it good! Glad the apple trees survived so that we could have apple pie!
The CELEBRATION continued as the Utah State Fair started on Thursday. We went out both Thursday and Friday night to watch the rodeo.
Saturday the 6th we headed up to the "U" to start our CELEBRATION for the first home football game of the season!

Mom
Dad
We were able to continue the CELEBRATION as Utah beat UNLV 42-21! Another victory for the Utes...2-0!!
After church Sunday Mom and Dad went up to Woodland for a quick visit. When they got back home we went back out to the State Fair for the final night of the rodeo.
The CELEBRATING will continue on throughout the month, with another trip to the State Fair, more football games, and birthdays!
