It's A Brand New Year!!

I can hardly believe that it's 2008! Seriously, where does the time go? But...before I get into 2008 I need to finish up 2007. We ended up leaving for Las Vegas on Sunday December 9th. The road conditions were not very good until we got past Nephi, and then once we got past St. George it was smooth sailing. Our days were filled with shopping until we had no more money to spend and eating ourselves silly. We went to the rodeo each night. It is such a GREAT rodeo. They waste no time, the rodeo starts at 6:45 most nights and is over by 9, with double the amount of contestants of most rodeos. At night we spend our time "touring the strip", or over at the Gold Coast watching the Nationals Finals Tonight show, or out to South Point watching the go round buckle awards. We had so much fun and can't wait for next year to do it all again!!

We came back to a very busy Christmas time. On our way home we made a detour up to Kamas to take in the Kamas Stake choir concert. It was a very good show. That week was packed with Christmas shows to take in and Christmas parties to attend.

Christmas was a little different for us this year. Mom, Dad and I spent Christmas Eve at our house, just the three of us. The weather wasn't all that great, and so we waited to go up to Paul's until Christmas morning. We made our way up and spent a good part of the day with them, as well as Mark and Jessica. Brody and Bridger got a new Hot Wheels track and cars from Grandpa and Grandma and boy did they think it was neat. Although I think the rest of the boys(Grandpa, Paul and Mark) also thought it was pretty fun.

We took a day to recoup and jumped back in on Thursday with the Wilderness Circuit Finals Rodeo. Dad, Mom, Brody, Bridger and myself went up on Thursday. Then on Friday Dave's family came in so they all joined us as well as Paul's family for both Friday and Saturday night.

Saturday we went to the annual Bisel family Christmas party. As always the food was good as well as the company.

Sunday we had the WHOLE family over. We have out grown the kitchen table. So the younger kids got to sit at their own table. Mom made a very nice dinner and we all really enjoyed it.

David, Stacey and the girls headed back home Monday morning. I unforunately had to go to work for most of the day. After work we went up to see Grandma at the hospital and then made our way back home to start the New Year's Eve festivities. Dad, Mom, Kylie, Amber, Brody, Bridger and I rang in the New Year together.

Well, that brings us back up to date! I hope for a very good year!
